Dois solitários numa avenida distante : adaptação de Gógol e Dostoiévski para o teatro

Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to search a theoretical field, which approaches and reflexions deal directly with the adaptation of non-dramatic works to a theatrical languagem with the necessary textual operations to the staging. It also will be addressed other theorical elaborations about the transposition process of literary works to the dramatics. The way delineated in this work starts from two literary works: O capote”, written by Nicolai Gógol and Memórias do subsolo, by Dostoiévski, achiving to elaboration of an adapted work, that prognosticates the scenic elements in a theatrical montagem. From my trajectory as a teacher and theater director, we introduce a methodology to the transcription of the two mentioned works into a dramatic text. There will also be a dramaturgical essay of text composition which it is to be played into a course of project, process and product. To this there will be used references to theoretical contributions as Bertold Brecht (1978), José Sanchis Sinisterra (2016), Haroldo de Campos (2005), Linda Hutcheon (2011) and others.
